It’s 3:46am. and again I am unable to sleep for the second straight night.Something is distressing me but I don’t know what.All I know is when I lay down my mind never seems to settle.
I went over to the Carol’s Daughter website and started to order their Face Butter, but when I got to the shipping part I became so disgusted I cancelled my order and logged out.
Having ordered from them in the past I know that shipping via UPS costs about $6.00.However, they now have a few more options that didn’t sit too well with me.In the past six dollars assured that my product would be delivered to my door and requiring a signature.But now, that six bucks only gurantees it will be delivered by UPS with no signature required.That means should I not get my order, chances are I have no recourse because I used the option that didn’t require a signature.
Now the option to have it delieverd by UPS with signature required cost $8.95.That is 5 cents more than the product I was ordering costs.So when added up all together, we are looking at nearly twenty dollars for something that costs less than 10.I decided to screw it and just go up the street tomorrow and get some damn Oil Of Olay.

A couple of weeks ago Guy ran into one of his distant cousins who was in our neighborhood visiting his ex and their children.As it turned out, his children went to school with our children and sometimes played with each other, never knowing they were related.Cute story right? Wrong.
My son, loving the fact that he had cousins in the neighborhood, went over to visit them about three times and then they started coming over to visit him.This was all fine and good until I sensed their mother wanted to start “dropping them off” over here whenever she felt like it.
Last week she popped over and “dropped them off” for most of the day.A few days later she “dropped them off” again to go get her hair done.Then today I hear a knock at my door and the oldest child is there telling me her mommy wants to know if it’s okay for them to stay here until seven o’clock? My answer was hell no ((Okay, you know I didn’t say it quite like that to a child)) and I told her to take her sister and go home.They are still here.

Very few things in this world make my heart skip a beat like the sight of a beautiful purse.I know many women have shoe fetishes, clothes fetishes, but not me.I love only two things: make-up and purses.I can spend hours shopping for just the right lip gloss ((I hate lipstick.)) and even more hours shopping for just the right purse to wear with my lip gloss.
Recenly, while surfing the net, my eyes came across the most beautiful Versace metallic leather bag. Just look at the details, oh my goodness.. it’s a work of art. I can just see me walking into a room with this purse and being the envy of all the other chicks there.I absolutely positively must find a way to somehow get this purse by the fall.

Just so you guys know I have not totally abandoned the blog for the entire summer, I have decided to post a few things that bring a smile to my face and hopefully will do the same for you.
As I said a few months back, I have totally been reliving my youth through You Tube.com, and I am always finding new and interesting things that remind me of the good old days.Just last night I ran across a video from my second favorite Girl Group of the 90′s; Jade.
Just like En Vogue, Jade was an all girl Black group comprised of nothing but lead singers.Each girl was beautiful and could totally hold her own on the mic.Unfortunately, just like En Vogue, they had a very short run in the music business (less than 10 years) and were eventually replaced with the likes of 702, 3LW and the even yuckier Destiny’s Child.
