Whenever I come to this site I am automatically overwhelmed with this immense sense of peace.It is the exact opposite of the feeling I get when I visit The Cocoa Lounge.After months of ignoring the technical well being of the board, I decided it was time to secure the forum by upgrading to the latest version of XMB.Unfortunately, with upgrading comes a loss of features and customizations that took hours to install.
So for the past 3 days I have been re-installing mods and now I am tired and frustrated.Installing mods is pretty simple, but I have no HTML or PHP knowledge, so when somthing goes wrong… and it always does, I have to seek help that I may or may not get.
Seeing that the members of these sites offer their help and expertise for free, there is no guarantee that you will get the help you seek or that you will get it in a timely fashion.In other words, I am left swinging in the wind until someone comes along and takes pity on me.
This obviously leaves me pissed off and frustrated, hence why I am here complaining about it.I love my board, but working on it is a form of torture made even harder by the fact that many XMB sites are closing down or in complete disarray.
I cannot wait until the board is 100% back the way it was and I can once again focus on my private life and of course, this Blog.

As you know, I just started posting to the Cocoa Lounge and I love it! I have never seen such well thought-out, intelligent conversation taking place in an African-American forum. I am impressed by the members, by their knowledge and by their insight. And even when I don’t agree with them (which is often!), they make me think. You all help me to stay open-minded…..
So keep the Cocoa Lounge going for all the newbies (like me) who are just discovering it. I’ve already referred people to it, just to be able to take part in the dialogue, community spirit, etc. It’s old and tiring and frustrating for you, but it’s like a breath of fresh air to me and many others.
So keep up the good work!
